In 14 starts this year Hernandez has fashioned a 9-4 record and a 3.65 ERA. |  | Sunday, June 10th, 2001: Todd Helton Suffers Injury The California Angels got some bad news when the team learned that Todd Helton was likely to be out for 2 weeks after he injured himself running the bases in today's game against the Seattle Mariners. A round of tests by the team doctors revealed the injury to be a sprained ankle. Upon learning of their diagnosis, the California manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Todd is back in action."
