Ryan Franklin went the distance at Memorial Stadium today. The Baltimore hurler yielded 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts in the Orioles 7-0 triumph over the New York (A) Yankees.
To date this season, Franklin has a record of 6 wins and 6 losses and a 5.71 ERA. He has appeared in 13 games and struck out 42 in 75.2 innings.

 | Friday, June 1st, 2001: Todd Hundley is May's #1 Hitter in AL
Though his face is weathered and his hands are calloused, Todd Hundley can still get it done in CJBL. In fact, the 32-year-old catcher for Baltimore was named the AMERICAN LEAGUE Batter of the Month today after putting up an impressive performance at the plate.
In May he batted .407 with 12 home runs, 33 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
Posting a .324 batting average to date, Hundley has 18 home runs and 51 RBIs.
